About the 5.55 Resistance Weapons design

I mean, in terms of design, the evolution of weapons was going very well until the last stage, but now, having seen the final stage, I thought "Maybe I'm being too rigorous?", because I found the design of almost all weapons horrible. That was when I went after the opinions from other players within the groups, on social media, and comments on YouTube videos, and I realized that most of the reception has been negative.

I don't know how Square Enix develops the concepts of relic weapons, but it seems to me that since Stormblood you're using the same visual concept for all weapons, when in A Realm Reborn and Heavensward this concept was defined by the job. Take the DRG for example, he fights dragons, he wears dragons as armor, everything about the job involves dragons as a concept of lore and design, that said, what does the last stage of his resistance weapon contribute to this concept? I mean, honestly, because I saw that and it looked like a low level dungeon reward ... with crystals.

Are we really going to need to spend 6 months investing on that? Because I definitely have no motivation to pursue these rewards.

I can only agree, the design of the weapons is horrible and the quest to acquire them includes completing 60 raids of Alexander, Omega and Eden each, 180 in total, which is just completely ridiculous. Now i feel like I wasted my time with how far I've already progressed the relic.

I hope i can reverse my weapon back to 5.35. Regret upgraded my machinist weapon, and it look very ugly. For stats, yes it is better, but all weapon will be outdated, Those who upgraded i think will kind of regret once new expansion kicks in. The design of 5.55 is totally trash. If you put both version of each type and compare.

I wonder the designer or the developer is blind or what. They poor taste is getting bad to worse.
