This is the only way I've gotten it to work. It won't work for anything taller than a midlander and it isn't pretty, but it works.

Which doesn't work for either of the places I'd like to use it (My Small houses basement and my FC room).

Yes, simply put, it's to tall. I would say 3-4 steps need to be removed from it. Perhaps make each step wider to get it to end in the same place as it does.

I feel bad for the person that designed it, finally getting their piece implemented in game only to find they can't actually use it cause no one actually tested it in a house.

Not to mention that in the spaces where glitching it through the floor is a possibility, the railing along the outside still makes it prohibitively hard to use the staircase at all in my experience.

nope we have a mansion and they dont work well in here either and its completely stupid, we wanted to b level with the marble walls and to do that meant floating them, and well once u float them u get blocked by a invisible barrier which is pathetic

we have a mansion and they don't work in there at all, we even tried floating them and when we had them lined up the way we needed them to be, we was hit with a invisible barrier preventing us from using them, its a stupid housing item if u can't use them how we wanted, they should have made 3 different sized ones for the different size houses that is available

It's not the house size that's the problem. It's the floor to ceiling height and how high we can place a loft for it to be functional as one.

The Spiral Staircase should have been made shorter so we could stack as needed just as we combine 2-3 Wooden Steps to create a staircase the height needed.

Glitching it through the floor doesn't work. The railing goes down with it and that completely closes it off so that you can't step into it. We've tried this and it just doesn't work.
