Anyone else think that the bozja relics look lazy?

On topic there are a few of them I like, rest are meh, but overall I'm less disappointed then the Eureka ones.

This is something we can agree on. A number of the Eureka relics were...incredibly bland and unappealing?

I love WHM and AST for jobs I actually play. Love the overall crystalline theme, just wish we could dye the crystals. Not a big fan of red and orange for RDM and DNC so I’ll do those last.

I see a lot of people hating on the DRK sword but I really like it and wish I played that class enough to justify the time sink.

I don’t think they look lazy. It’s new models- just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s lazy design. Then again, this is MPK we are talking about. Hope they used all resources available for everything for male viera. All enemies will be repurposed male viera skeletons because it’s all they worked on. No hats at all for anyone because they couldn’t fit them on male viera. Only hair released will be male viera only. In order to do Ultimate you have to fantasia to male viera. All ultimate weapons only work on male viera because they only bothered to make animations for male viera. BunWalker is upon us, please look forward to it.

See, I'm not the only one who thinks that it's not only the hardcore players who do ultimate. Everyone can.

I don't want to ever read the "only 5% of people ever do ultimate" line ever again. That's a complete lie. Only the lazy who are too scared to put any effort into anything avoid ultimate.

Square should stop putting money into stuff like male vieras. We need more ultimate content for us regular folks to do. Savage is easy enough even casuals can do it if they try hard enough.

I wouldn't say they look lazy, they generally look pretty cool I think (the glow effect is certainly more interesting than Eureka's glow effect). They also are just kinda low key at the same time, they don't really scream "I'm a relic weapon" at a glance. I think they are perfectly good weapons, but they don't really stack up to Anima or Zodiac in terms of final steps

I'm still gonna farm a few though. The RDM relic is pretty slick IMO.

I don't think they look lazy. I'm sure they took a significant amount of time. I just don't find them visually appealing. Especially some of the color choices.

I second someone earlier who said if they wanted a crystal theme, they should have gone full crystal. Something like Shiva's weapons but with a crystal aesthetic maybe could be very nice.

They should at least make the crystal different and unique for each job and place them appropriately that would add nicely to the aesthetic.
Instead the crystals mostly look the same bar the different colors and a lot of them felt like they're just slapped there onto the weapon without much thought.
