Demon Slayer Collaboration

Hello everyone,


Im a ffxiv fan and a player since 1.0. I love this game and I would like to share with you guys a collaboration that I would love to have... someday... Its an anime that came from a manga, called Demon Slayer. If you never watched, I recommend. Wont give any spoiler so here comes just statics of the anime that could give ideas for anything, from haircut, costume, glamour, jobs, furnitures, colors, gears, emotes, minions etc etc etc xD Imagine even a collab with a story, where demons would come to us, so we could kill them, or even a primal demon... anyways many things.

Here come pics so you can imagine and let me know what do you think about it.

I'd rather have collaborations as limited as possible. YorHa and Rathalos already feel pretty out of place, at least to me and I'd rather see FFXIVs team develop fights and items based on their own style than copying other franchises.

Ehh, I'd rather see more Monster Hunter collabs, out of all the non FF related collabs we've had it feels like MH fits the best, the only thing they need not do again is try to do original armor sets for it. The sets we got were nice, if they came from any other content. But it's really a poor move to literally give us an iconic monster to fight from MH but then not also give us the iconic armor related to said monster.
Not only that but I've gotten pretty over saturated with Demon Slayer, and I don't think a samurai focused collab would feel very great for non samurai mains lmao.

In my dreams we get a Witcher crossover and see a great cursed anime Geralt, but I can't imagine FF doing the portal cross over gimmick twice, not so quickly one after another anways.

Only if I get:

1. Tanjiro's forehead mark as a Optional Face Paint.

2. We get a chibi Nezuko Minion that runs like adorable Nezuko.

3. We get a Inosuke looking Boar mount in honor of the greatest idiot, Inosuke, that has ever lived.

4. Demon Corps glamour gear. At least three different kinds based off of different Demon Corps character from the series.

Demon Slayer is a cool show, but that's pure anime; it wouldn't look right here. Better to collab with other games that have a similar aesthetic.

We have great baby boars as minions, but the adult models in game are kinda lame. Give us a beast worth to be called Master of the Mountain and let us ride it!

The uniforms are classy AF too. I wouldn't mind the generic one, but any of the characters's with dyeable haori would be awesome (since we lack clothes like this and it's a shame since we got SB).

Just saying, this game and that show are completely different visual styles. It's a little easier to make that work when the premise of the show is just goofy looking creatures running around.

But no one is expecting something more complex than that. So far, everyone is just discussing basically rewards.

And rewards would be based on visuals, wouldnt they? This request has been made because someone (or some people) like the visual style of that anime, right? You'd like to see this because you'd like to dress your character in gear that looks like the stuff the characters in said anime wear - if not, asking for more "samurai insipired" gear would have been fine and there would be no need for a crossover.

Having said that: I wasnt thrilled by Yokai either (a crossover that happend - at least afaik - because Yoshi-P is friends with the guy whos in charge of Yokai) and I rarely see people using the weapons as glamour (nor see I many Yokai pets around or many people using the mounts - happens, but rarely). My personal theory would be that thats because they dont look like they fit into this world.

No thanks Demon Slayer is a mediocre title and I know I will get hate for this comment but whatever. We need some Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana Collabs or something coming from the old school Squaresoft archives.
