Where in there does it imply he's talking about the WoL if you're the german expert here. I never disagreed that hunt clearly means the final showdown with the WoL. But the anger and hatred which YOU quoted from me btw, is clearly talking about himself. He uses "Mein" und "meinen, meines" I'm not sure how to explain this more in depth. The sentence afterward is completely irrelevant to what you quoted from me in the first place as I was talking about the differences in the following sentence "My icecold wrath that is boiling through my veins shall be the fuel of my hatred. That is the word for word translation, where is he is talking about himself, meanwhile in English French and Japanese he is directly saying YOUR ice old wrath and so on and so forth.

I've been thinking about the last cutscene with Zenos.

He's standing there with his brand new scythe weapons, having cut down several people.

My question is who are those unfortunate people?

They're dressed in the visual shorthand for Eorzean Grand Company soldiers, ie low-level gear dyed red, green, and gold. But this is presumably in the middle of Garlemald, and I don't think Eorzean soldiers have made it that far yet. (Not to mention we didn't see anyone dressed like Ishgardian knights or Ala Mhigan Resistance.)

They're also obviously not there on a covert mission, given they're dressed in Grand Company colours.

So who are they? Are they Garlean conscripts who happen to be dressed in other gear and colours due to the civil war?
