I have really enjoyed the Bozja storyline. I feel that this time around they have really nailed the FFXII feeling while still having everything nicely integrate with FFXIV. I love all the little storylines that take place across the FATES and collecting the “codex” entries has been fun (although I do wish the Gabranth, Lyon and Ashe epilogues had been in CSes). I also wish we had gotten more of the XII cast's outfits. Larsa’s is fine, but Penelo’s and Bash’s are some of the worse in FFXII. Getting Ashe’s, Al-Cid’s, Vayne's or especially Penelo’s Revenant Wings costume would be awesome. Balthier and Penelo also have Tactics costumes and Vaan got a second sky pirate costume in Dissidia NT. Hmm, maybe in Endwalker? It feels like the story of Gabranth, Lyon and the IVth legion isn’t over.

I think most have been said but it did make me curious

I am wondering if an eventual plot point would involve the Coil plot with Louisoix and Fourchenault. Especially if the twins weren't supposed to tell anyone. But who knows, since he's family? Speculating that they may have not said anything but word reached him/had eyes on them anyways?

Could it also be related to them being disowned? (like I said speculation if they didn't really bury the hatchet on that plot point of Grandpa being a primal)

About them...

Oboro's field record confirms that they actually helped us back during the Doma Castle invasion offscreen, so they've actually been members of the Resistance. Wish they actually showed that instead of telling.

It was also nice to get some clarity on what Oboro and Tsubame's real surnames were since it's been established that the ones they've been using are basically just their ninja alias.

Meanwhile, we still don't know what Yugiri's real surname is (Or at least I don't recall it being mentioned in the lorebook or anything).

They fleetingly did.

From memory, Oboro is with Alphinaud and Alisaie deactivating the forcefield at the Moon Gates when preparing to raid the castle, but it's a single brief cutscene and he's just there, and you don't see him before or after that.

Ugh, don't remind me, I still resent how Stormblood activly went out of its way to avoid having the Monk and Ninja class characters be part of the MSQ.

The shot of Oboro was in the trailer, so I was positive he and others would be getting the Estinien treatment and leveled the classes accordingly.

Ended up being such a waste of time.

Another casualty of the region split probably. Plus with him not having any interest in the throne it'd be kind of a nowhere plot. At least he and Lyse do meet in the level 80 monk quest though.

It seems like a lot of stuff in this patch was really rushed. Between no expansion scion outfit, Fandaniel lines missing from the trailer, Bozja story being just...oof. It seems like so many things were cut which is really unfortunate for the last majorish patch before the next expansion.

For some reason I was sure the end of expansion Scion outfit was going to be the 1.0 adventurer outfit we see the WoL use at the beginning of the Shadowbringers trailer. You even see it again worn by NPCs during the Chrystarium part of the trailer. I recall Yohi-P saying he was surprised that outfit was never made available to players so I figured this was the perfect time. Guess not. But its weird, a single outfit shouldnt be that time consuming, and its also a tradition.
