Bozja profile stuff

I am absolutely devouring the Dalmascan religion lore in Gilbrisbert quo Buteo's profile.
-XIV's Kiltia follows the teachings of Ajora and considers Ultima a servant of Faram.
-The Sect of Germonique cult says Ultima is a god instead of a servant, that Ajora was a false prophet, and that Germonique (the Judas to Ajora's Jesus) was the true savior.
-Germonique's cult was the only religious group in Dalmasca's history to be declared heretical and exiled. They allowed other religions as acknowledgment of their nation's diversity, but not that.

New town in Dalmasca: Sal Ghidos.

From Atori Moribe, we know there are Au Ra in Nagxia, descended from Doman ones. Also our first Nagxian town: Dagluk. Nagxia's invasion from the empire was done by the XIth legion. It was 25 years ago, since Atori's profile says she's 29 now and was 4 when it happened.

In regards to Zenos

Everyone is talking about Zenos being the dreamer but the french/german dialogue very clearly indicates it’s the tower that Fandaniel is referring to.

Interesting how many people thought it was Zenos. To me it seemed to be someone else. Maybe Zodiark, maybe even Anima, or someone entirely new.

FFX featured Kazushige Nojima at his most blatantly philosophical, and I still turn over its themes in my head every now and again. (To the chagrin of many, here and elsewhere.) Natsuko Ishikawa is, by her own admission, not a very philosophical writer, but Shadowbringers already touched on similar themes with Aumarot and the summoning of Zodiark. I can't help but wonder if she's been feeling a bit of FFX influence lately, and if we'll be getting a lot more of that in Endwalker.

Wait, then is it possible that

the "dreamlike" Kingdom of Zeal looking area we were shown belongs to the Dreamer?

Well come to think of it

They did compare the "Zeal" area to Il Mheg and emphasized its odd appearance, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a dream world.

The twins CANNOT have their last name taken away by their father. Their grandfather would NOT allow it, and I think that some respect is in some serious order. I do not know what is up the Sharlayans butts, but I think they seriously need to be smacked in the face. :L

Edit: Spoiler tabs do not work on mobile, so no I will not be using them. It makes it hard to read.

They do work on mobile lol. I’m always on mobile and i just used them above.

You have to manually type out [HB] and [/HB ](without the space) to get spoiler tabs to work

Nier Story:

I've said as much in previous threads, but the music and boss fights were the highlight of the raid series for me. I didn't think much of the glamour rewards, really - other than a couple of the sets available in the final raid. It isn't as if there aren't any male characters in the Nier/Drakengard games so it's a little bizarre to me that so few of the outfits were made with male characters in mind.

The story ended up not really leading anywhere noteworthy and ending on a vague not with little explanation. I can't help but wonder if something bolder was originally planned only for the course to be changed. Either way, it is what it is. Invaders and visitors from another world should be treated as a bigger deal but seemed to just be a thin justification as to why we had Nier themed content in the first place.

All in all, I thought the Return to Ivalice series did a better job at fitting into FFXIV in a way that made sense. Though I suppose in many ways, this game is in itself a love letter to the Ivalice games on some fronts.

Moon stuff

Btw, did anyone else found it weird that everyone just stared at the bright moon at the end of duty like hypnotized? They did not move at all or talk just stared at it for a long time...
