Apt improvements, possible housing relief?

I was thinking about how housing has gardening along with airships/subs locked behind owning a house or having a fc. which still this is usually controlled by only 1-2 members.

If they would add a spot to apartments similar to how FC houses have private rooms but instead of being a private room it's a private balcony with room to add garden plots, so everyone isn't at the mercy of the few for their needed onions, or chocobo items, or whatever other gardening items they may need. This would be enough to satisfy at least some from owning a personal house.

Also along this same idea, they could add a dock in the housing wards for sending out ships and subs similar to how we have community stables outside the apartments they could add an area specifically for these things.

Just an idea, but the current housing situation is awful, I i wish they would scrap the whole thing and do it like so many other games do and just make it an instanced situation ala SWtoR, or even WoW garrisons, could decorate, build vendor stalls and have your minions running around.

I'm hoping the Island Sanctuary content that's coming in Endwalkers is going to help make gardening more accessible. That said, we know nothing about it beyond a name a bit of hype.

I would love to see studio (FC house rooms/current size rooms) Small - Small house basement size, Medium - Med house 1st and 2nd floor sized/layout. and Penthouse - Large 1st and 2nd floor sized/layout.

Yoshida recently stated they will not be working expanding apartments. They are currently discussing/working on alleviating the housing ward issues. Granted the full extent is not known as he was vague.

I'm figuring the island will have some gardening aspects similar to that panda hill place in WoW, but I'd still like if they expanded the benefits of owning an apartment to not lock people out of things only a fc house can do.
