    Got ya... just a little ribbing....

    to the point of the OP.... DPS would be a great indicator if all damage was done by auto-attacking

    for instance....

    Ifrit's Claws
    Damage 131
    Delay 3.3
    DPS 39.7

    Garuda's Talons
    Damage 115
    Delay 2.8
    DPS 41.1

    Also Ifrit boosts ATK while Garuda boosts ACC

    And thats all fine and good if the only damage you did was auto-attack

    but since the Ifrit also boosts weaponskills, which can't be determined by DPS and aren't directly affected by delay (Especially when you've got TP song and invigorate) then isn't the value of the Garuda talons diminished?

    No because faster hits means more TP, higher accuracy means less misses, It's impossible to tell without parsing it properly.
