I'd rather have the attack speed buff over the higher raw power, honestly.
Not to mention that on a purely shallow level Garuda's MNK weapon looks way cooler than Ifrit's, IMO.

Someone send out the bat signal for kaeko so he can explain again for like the 100th time why base damage is more important then delay.
Correct me if im wrong, but we've never had weapons with a delay this low so....any prior research is rendered invalid in light of the fact the game has just changed.
I suggest you learn to accept this.

"Delay makes no difference when compared to base damage."
"But dis delay is lower den all da udderz."
Herp derp
+10 int makes no difference
Owait I guess +50 int doesn't either.
That was the train of logic you just used, cmon son lol...let's be smart.
LOL you have no math for these weapons! Seriously, you have no math to begin with. Hot air over stuff you haven't even used, parsed, or tested.
What about the new crafted weapons? For example
Sarnga (Bow)
Damage 106
Delay 4.1
Projectile 100%
Dexterity+7
Piety+7
Base damage is higher than Ifrit's. It is also meldable.

Unless you are bringing in hard data, you are only letting your ass speak on your behalf. Don't tell someone they are wrong without proving it.
It is also for ARC only.
