Launcher Error on PC - "Unable to complete version check"

Hey there. I'm also from India, getting the exact same error code whole day. Could you please tell what VPN you used to work around this? I have tried a few but nothing seems to be working so far sadly. Help would be appreciated, thank you!

I actually use the vpn that comes with my antivirus - Bitdefender, but I'm sure something like Tunnelbear *should* also work.

At least now I know it's not just me facing this problem. Out of curiosity, which ISP do you guys use in India?

I tried protonvpn to bypass the bootcheck of the launcher and it seems to be working. My ISP is pmpl broadband, a local one in Calcutta. What are you using?

I use Airtel optical fibre, and if you say your local ISP has the same problem, it's pretty concerning because I live in distant Pune. I hope it's not some government thing, because that would be very inconvenient. I tried using my Jio hotspot and it showed the same error, so I'm pretty worried it might be.

I think it might be related to the cyclone that's about to hit on Tuesday but honestly I have no idea.

Hi I'm from India too also having the same problem it didnt happen untill today i play on steam tried everything reinstalled the game many times, after sometime i thought it may be the isp is the culprit i use jio, then i unpluged my ethernet and connected my phone to my pc and turn Usb tethering on my mobile
and mobile internet "bsnl" and launched ffxiv logged in, stay connected to mobile internet untill the title screen comes then disconnect and play using ur main internet.Not a permanent fix hope SE will fix this problem.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Not sure which end the problem is from but if it's happening all over then it's not looking too good. Not sure how long this bandaid fix will work

Hi i m from India too. have been getting the error 30605 20447 20526. i use usb tethering with my jio and airtel networks for past year and none of this problem occurred. Now even after trying everything like reinstalling, twinking with files etc., i still cnt get it to work . if any1 have any solutions or any updates or any1 living in india with no such problems cud help, i wud be grateful.

Ok, it seems I'm able to log in without a VPN once more. Hopefully, the problem's been resolved for all of you as well.
