Corsair is what I am banking on for 7.0. Cutlass and pistol weapons, scouting gear to fit the theme of going to the new world. If the new world is where we go for 7.0 then that would make sense.Reaper. Honestly i don't get why the job shares gear with Dragoon, its AF is not heavily armored neither is Zenos.
A corsair job, if not ranged, could use Ninja gear. Doubt to see another assassin job.
We could also have Rune Fencer using Ninja gear, the logic would be the same for Reaper using Maiming armors. It would make sense for a job to use the Dexterity stats if they dual wield weapons.
Though... "Bliztballer"? Where does that idea comes from, do you imagine footballer being added in the game? Tidus was more of a time mage/rune fencer/gladiator.
No i don't want a football class, i just meant whatever you would classify Tidus to be. I was just spitballin because i personally really like ff10 But cant really think of a class that would work from that game.Reaper. I agree that it is weird that a reaper class uses dragoon gear.
You realize that Ninja shares the right side gear with Bard, Dancer and Machinist on non-AF/crafted/dungeon gear already, right?

Give me a proper Assassin class please.

Any kind of pirate themed job using a cutlass/pistol weapon.
You could have something like the Tamer which uses a whip and perhaps abilities that "release" monsters/pets for short periods of time something like MCH has with their turrets or something. Perhaps a mystic swordsman class or something that imbues their swords with various elemental powers? Something like Celes from FFVI or the mystic swordsman class from FFV. Or they could make something else completely out of their butts... kinda like Sage (sorry that reveal trailer looked bad =p)
"Then what is magic for?" Prince Lir demanded wildly. "What use is wizardry if it cannot save a unicorn?"
Schmendrick did not turn his head. With a touch of sad mockery in his voice, he said, "That's what heroes are for."
-- Peter S. Beagle, The Last Unicorn

how about a dps class that uses a whip? call it monster hunter or something.
"Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. They stood back to back as the galaxy burned - always brothers, never friends; traitors together unto the last."
--an excerpt from a Night Lords Novel, "Void Stalkers" Chapter X: Revenge.
With Scouting gear focus on being the DEX melee job armor sets, it will have to be something close or strongly related to taking advantage of DEX for melee combat.
Though not much comes to mind for me other than Assassin. If built and designed right, it can be the second Sounting Armor Job.
That or take this opportunity to introduce a Job that use both sword and gun such as Corsair or something.
Speaking of which it does bring up the opportunity to bring back Corsair from FF11 but given a new gameplay style with a sword also added to their combat style with their gun. SE did just bring back FF11 Scythe Dark Knight as Reaper after all so it is possible with enough effort.

If they ever add Beast Master it could share gear with NIN the way BLU shares gear with the other casting jobs.
