I heard that during fanfest Q&A that when creating glamours they intentionally make something on it look bad so it isn't the only thing people are wearing.

If anyone can point me to the exact question and answer to this, I'd appreciate it as I didn't watch and don't have a quote to reference. Regardless, if they don't want people to only focus on one glam- why not just make it GOOD anyway so people have more variety?

Players always revert to items that came out several years ago anyway because without some *cough* ""edits"" you have unnecessary bits and questionable choices that turn people away from wearing it in the first place.

I have seen the Uraeus/Chivalric coat worn by literally every race/gender since I started playing in Heavensward because it's good. Why not just make items good, let players focus on it, but eventually have other options as time goes on? They create a problem that wouldn't be a problem by their own hands by intentionally limiting the appeal.
