Bloodborne's gear is based of of old English fashion. It didn't invent the style. Just because something uses a similar style doesn't automatically mean it's based off of Bloodborne

It IS the most recent big game that uses a similar style, and considering the dev team released the Cryptlurker sets which look straight out of the Souls series, well...put 2 and 2 together.
