Can I get the Guild Master role back?

Some friends and I recently all got back into the game and I realized the FC we had has a new guild master. I know the 35 day rule when it gives the role to someone else. But I was wondering if there was a way to get the guild master role without waiting the entire 35 days for the current role to be given to me? The current guild master is very new to game only having a level 18 Arcanist and hasn't been on in 19 days (as of the day of this post). If the only way to get it back is to wait, ain't no problem honestly. Was just wondering if there is another way.

No honest clue where to post this for the best response, never really used the forums so I'm new to this.

To answer your question as best as I can with the information I have:

There is no precedent for GM's or Customer service swapping the leadership for you. There are no ways to initiate the transfer other than having the player promote you guild leader or waiting the full time for it to auto-swap.

If I remember correctly the whole thing is the number of days plus whomever is of the highest rank and has logged in more recently than anyone else.
