Yeah, it feels like, like the game, the forum is being overrun with bot accounts... Its made them much worse than they used to be.All you need to do is look at their lodestone profile and you can clearly see that OP is an alt character. They have all of the telltale signs:
1 combat job at 80
All crafters + bot and miner at 80
In a solo FC
Only the mounts and minions you would get from job boosting a character
Infact, take a close look at the lodestone profiles of the posters of the 'November isn't fall' and 'Balance admin drama / FFXIV has a bad story' threads. Remarkably similar, no? Fits the same profile as I listed above with even more similarities. Same character birthdates, both unlocked gladiator to level 2 with exactly 500xp, both unlocked fisher and are on 200xp, mounts and minions are identical (apart from one having the unicorn because they job boosted WHM). The fact that they are so similar you could also say that their movements and levelling were somewhat...scripted. If you know what I am saying.
I was called a troll on my first thread as well. If I recall correctly some random guy also hinted that I am another Titan whatever alt. You lot need a reality check honestly.
Edit: I just looked it up, it was Vahlnir, someone who is present in almost all "troll" posts, the guy just has a lot of time to waste with trolls.
To quote: "It seems as though they are trying to fill the void that TitanMen left. Really wish they'd have left it unfilled."
He was replying to some person who said I am Merhouse's alt because in my first post I said that mentors in ffxiv are really bad. Aside from some of them being toxic and unhelpful, they are also just bad at their job. I wrote this because, the first time I ever got kicked from a dungeon was because I refused to play optimally because my tank (mentor) literally said they were feeling lazy and didn't want to pull mobs. I said okay and starting spamming cure I onward. Before that I would use holy, assize and play like I am supposed to play. He said guys roll on items, and I did, next thing I know I am back at Gridania.
When the so-called in-game mentors are trashbags, I am hardly surprised that the old old forums people who say that every other guy is trolling are the same.

Some people are too paranoid, granted, but I'm never off the mark on these. Hell, I've even been the one to give some accounts the benefit of the doubt that actually did turn out to be Titan-alts. I'm also slowly starting to be convinced that MPK is at the very least friends with the guy behind Titan, or is the same guy, or pretends to be the original guy. MPK has been way too consistent in getting the first post in on these threads lately, though I still can't confirm them to actually own any of the accounts that aren't section 3_3.
I highly doubt you're a titan-alt, but SecretIsland most certainly is. Checking the lodestone profile, the writing style of the posts, the very specific character naming convention, roe... it fits his M.O. to a T.
I actually didn't think t0rn was a titan-alt until they decided to be really blatant about it, either.
There's also people like Merhouse who are/were definitely trolling but are also neither Titan nor MPK. Their account was way too legit for that.
This forum is kind of a troll-infested hellscape and jury's still out where titan gets all the money for these botted accounts.
EDIT: Y'know, Titanman might actually be a case of "Three guys in a trenchcoat" come to think.
If it's a network of botters who troll their forums in their spare time, it could very well be that there isn't just "1" titanman. It's possible that it's actually a group of friends using their individual bot accounts to troll the forums when they feel like it, and give off the illusion that it's actually the work of 1 guy.
All speculative, though. What we do know is that there's definitely a singular entity committing the same 'crime' so to speak.
