Yeah, raiding and dungeons are fun, but one of my favorite things about mmos is that you can sometimes just... BE inside them. Chilling out, vibe with the world, but also just kinda gain some progress while wandering about. XIV attempts it, but never pushes it as far as it could go to really give me the incentive to just relax and chill out in game.
I don't play genshin so I don't know the mechanics, but the way you describe it makes it just sounds like hunt marks. Which no.
This sounds like both daily Hunt marks or daily beast tribes. So they already kind of have something like this in place.
I wouldn't be against more daily missions that get us out into the world.
Honestly what we need is hidden caverns/buildings/zones thaylt in order to get access to, you have to do a side msq (this zones should spawn enemy that when killed has chance to drop a chest that would give an item of unquie level.. But make this nm
hidden zone on para with hard/drops of the team play content. Were they are just as challanging but you can do them alone or with a single friend this can be done open worldly.

South shroud, the duskwight bandit camp opens up after a fate chain. Though you can't really do much once its open. I think there's a shop there?
And the Lochs, that one windy crypt place that has like maybe a minor fate chain and like nothing else.
I personally REALLY liked the indiana jones style adventure in raktika's MSQ with the puzzle areas and really wish that could be incorporated into overworld travel.

What i mean is addition zones/maps/areas that you cant access until you unlock thzobes sidemsq.. Ecample the Stepps could have a gaint plain with what i explain, but only ppl who complwte the steps can enter the zone, plus it needs to be as hard as savage content but open world for either rlly small groups or solo.
And i mean very small 1/3 ppl max
