Give both Genders eachother's weapon drawn /cpose.

Does anyone else get really annoyed by certain /cposes for females or males? Dragoon for instance, males get the iconic pose that Kain has, while females lean on their lance. Which in some cases has the back end of the lance hovering. The Elemental lance is the worst offender.

It would take some tweaking of already made animations, but I think it would go a long way for having your character express themselves with their weapon drawn.

Honestly I would like an option for that... just make two new emotes for them /bstance A and /bstance B for example.


EDIT: somehow i confused those emotes for the /cpose ones derp but yeah all you'd have to di is toggle /cpose once again to cycle through em.

Yea the tech is already there, it wouldn't be a huge job to do this. I really hope SE let everyone use both job related cpose stances. I'm very happy with the ones I have with a female character, but my boyfriend often laments that the male version of drk cpose isn't as cool as the female version...and I agree

It would also be awesome if they could create some more idle stances for your held weapon.
We have multiple Idle stances when we sheath our weapon, and I think they added one more a few patches ago, why not add a new Idle stance or 2 with the weapon drawn?

I agree, this particularly annoys me with DRG, males get the iconic DRG stance, females get a more generic one that imo, doesn't fit with DRG as well.

Doing a little animating in my spare time, it is likely very much easier to restart them from scratch. Reworking an animation for new rigs is a PITA. I think lala and midlanders would be rigged differently too. Not sure of the others like Hroth.

Glam and how people create their characters? It's not as if people are going to start mistaking hrothgar for being female just because they start using the other drk cpose. I don't know about you but when there's a new hot emote that everybody is doing I don't suddenly find it difficult to tell different players apart. And I play with name plates turned off.

It's quite silly that job cposes are gendered. Absolutely none of them display anything that is even an outdated traditional way a man or woman should pose with a weapon, never mind modern a take on it.
