I fully and 100% support this idea - there's no reason to not have alternatives, especially since appearance and animations are very important to players - but posting specifically because this actually gave me a pretty clear idea for a drawing for FHrothgar at some point.

The female poses are a lot more elaborate and expressive imo, but I really want the Samurai pose for male characters.
