I love me some Glamour, but if we're being honest, the system is still a *little* bit of a hassle. I think most people have said, the "Transmog" system from Diablo 3 was pretty excellent in most cases.
Anyways, right now there is a limit of 15 Glamour Plates, which is obviously fewer than the available Jobs (to say nothing of gathering skills). Obviously, there has to be SOME kind of limit, otherwise you'd wind up with craziness like 99 Glamour Plates on a single character!
But also, I noticed on my BLU that when upgrading gear, he'd have to actually make a trip to Ul'dah, change job, and then change BACK in order to re-glamour his gear. Not a big deal, but just felt sort of unnecessary.
I just wondered, why not tie Glamour Plates to your Job Crystal? Maybe there's some benefit to the current system I'm not quite seeing, but that seems like it would be a well enough solution, and might simplify the system a bit more, instead of dealing with "what Glamour Plate is assigned to each Gear-set number, and if I change the Gear-set number, I have to change... yada yada yada".
Again, just an idea!
Also; now that Belts are being removed, I HIGHLY encourage you (the Devs) to move the Soul Crystal and Off-hand/Shield slots, and put them at the TOP of the screen, right next to Weapon! That would just really tidy-up the UI and make it symmetrical!
