FFXIV Launcher on PC sometimes visually indicates that it has focus, when it does not

I've noticed this behaviour as well, a private Discord server at least. Promptly changed passwords....Anyways, I actively click the field now to ensure focus, and then click the Login button manually instead of smashing Enter. Still, it's strange behaviour and I'm not sure if it's the XIV launcher or Discord, the latter of which seems to steal focus quite frequently on an otherwise inactive system. Maybe it has to do with notifications? IDK, I'm no expert but I don't like the behaviour.

I think it might be discord, never had it happen anywhere else but I’ve input my password many a times to my private discord groups, to the point where it’s become a meme in some of them. I won’t even have discord on my main screen, it’ll be behind like, Firefox or something, and I’ll be typing my password in only for it to not work, and for me to realize discord is eating it.

I’ve taken to making sure I click into the password field rather than assume it’s clicked into, whenever I have discord open.

While Discord does seem to be a big offender, it seems like it can happen in certain other cases as well. The OP in the other thread helpfully was able to capture a recording of them reproducing it with Notepad of all things.
