They weren't like this originally, but me and my friends can all see this at x17.4 y14.4 Z1.2

Dunno when this happened, but most probably an accident?

Garleans have been patrolling that place for at least 8 years now. They are probably getting bored and making weird rock formations. Gotta pass the time somehow since the WoL threat passed almost a decade ago.

Maybe they are starting to run out of food and cannibalize themselves. Perhaps the rocks are where the buried lay.

I wonder if this happened during the map update to make it Northern Thanalan flyable? Never noticed it before, or just haven't paid attention.

Looks to me like normal rocks that all got copied and pasted slightly to the left/right. Probably a thing that happened when they loaded in the new zones with more visibility for flying.
