Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you could point me in the right direction.

I have a PS4 controller here that i'm using via Steam to play the game, and i've just started getting a weird issue with it as of today.

Buttons work normally until I press the touch pad button to toggle the hud, after i do this buttons will only work if i hold down the R2 button.

So for example, i login and am standing beside the summoning bell, i can interact with it all fine until i press this one button. After that i can no longer jump, press x to target anything, L1/L2 stop working, i can no longer double press R2 to get my secondary crossbar up. They only work again if i press R2 down and then press those buttons.

I can't get things to work normally again until i restart my whole computer.

I've tried calibrating the controller in game but when it asks me to press the touch pad it doesn't register and sometimes shows up on the calibration screen as already being pressed down. I checked via windows controller calibration and can see that the button is only being pressed down when i press it, so i'm not sure why that is happening.

Within Steam i have it configured so that the touch pad and the share button both toggle through my hud and my options button brings up my main menu.

I have tried using both the default options within the ffxiv config window in my steam library as well as using steam , as it lets you toggle between the 2.

Does anyone have any ideas how i might solve this problem?

Many thanks!
