So you basically basing your assumptions on what ifs. There is no guarantees.
Sounds like yall need to learn english like rest of the world. I'm not english native. I had to learn the language and my secondary language.

I don't know about the rest of LA. But I doubt enough brazilians would play FFXIV even with a LA DC.
Brazilian gaming community cares more about how much money you save than how much fun you're having. You're called a "loser" and get mocked for buying games at full price.
A subscription based game is just a huge nono for most of them. This is why the large majority of brazilian XIV players are in only one world, Behemoth. That's just how few of them there are.
And personally, I would never play in a latin-american DC. I can even play without ping issues in the japanese datacenter. Just not in the european one for some reason.
When they started talking about the datacenters during the FanFest I got so many hopes of us being noticed but sadly we didn't. But like our friends from Oceania, we might still get one Datacenter one day, and now more than ever I want to say how much this means for us!
It's hard to build a community without a datacenter here. It's hard to find people from out timezones to clear content, and some jobs and bosses are just impossible to beat depending on the latency we face here. We don't have it as hard as our friends from Oceania do but still, we don't have as many options. I got to a NA static sometimes to clear the raids, but I needed to be awake until 1AM during week days to do so, because of the difference in timezones... Some fights were just bad matchups depending on our jobs because of the latency, and only once I managed to play with a full static of Brazillian players, because of how few we are. We do have some discord servers to find statics and whatnot but they are really few, and many times you don't find a group because of that.
But I'm thankful for having the spark of hope lighten up again after seeing the Oceania Datacenter! And one day I can actually play FFXIV as an MMO with a community!!
Oh and BTW, I could only find data from WoW from 2018 to check the players count, so if anyone have a player count from FFXIV or some more updated data, feel free to add, but in 2018 WoW had 1.5million characters counting LA and Brazil realms, which is a little less than the Oceanic realms, with 1.6million characters, so in the case of WoW, which has a localization AND datacenters on LA and Brazil, then those places have enough players to make it worth having datacenters and localizations.
I don't have the numbers for FFXIV, but if we assume that the market for it is similar to WoW, then it's not unrealistic to assume that if LA and Brazil get datacenters and localizations, then those places could hold almost as many players as Oceania. Of course, FFXIV sure has less % of it1s playerbase Oceania (since there is no datacenter for them yet, so less incentive for people to play the game) when compared to WoW, and even less LA and Brazillian players for sure. But looking at WoW's numbers, it could mean that, IF we get a localization and DC on LA/Brazil, then the player base could grow to make it worth it. The same way, the Oceanic datacenter for sure will bring more players from Oceania once released, and the same goes for the LA/Brazil DC.

Theres an Oceana server?
I would rather have regional pricing for the monthly subscription
Here in Argentina 1 month of subscription costs 1993 pesos (1226 pesos + 65% tax).. it's too much
Even WoW and TESO have regional pricing
Either way, that taxing is... way too much. Especially considering I pay NO tax on my sub. For the same amount as what you pay, I've got a regular sub for 8 characters per world, and can get 2 retainers.
