Portable Radio/MP3 Player for Orchestrion Roll

i think it would be really good if there was a option to have a portable music player to play your collected orchestrion rolls instead of the normal BGM

first time posting a suggestion and unsure if this is the place for it but wanted to put across my idea and maybe it would be implemented one day

I'm pretty sure Soken has already explained in the past about why this is not actually possible, but I lack the citation about it. From what I understand it's due to how the music in the game is coded using two seperate channels - zone music uses the main channel, where as battle music and event themes use the second channel, and when a battle theme or event theme needs to play it momentarily mutes or pauses the main channel, before switching back.

It appears the Orchestrion uses this secondary channel, and hence it can't be used outside a furnishing inside an instanced inn room or house, because there is no expected need to run an event cutscene or battle theme inside a house or inn room, where as outside in the field the secondary channel is required for battles and cutscenes.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a portable Orchestrion too, but unfortunately I do not see it happening due to the aforementioned reasons.
