It does make it difficult to carry an extended discussion.

I think the post limit has become sort of a debate strategy here. Basically if you're cornered just ask dumb questions and make the person repeat themselves until the forum forces the discussion to end in a stalemate. It's an exhausting strategy in places that don't have a post limit, but here it's the ultimate big brain play.

Though I guess when some people have more posts in ~6 months than I do in almost 10 years. it could be necessary I guess. especially with some of the topics that get created...

Yeah, I'd like to see the post limit tweaked at some point. There's no restriction on other forums I post on and it's annoying to get into a discussion about a part of the game only for it to fizzle out due to lack of posts.
