I'm sure they have hairstyles as part of the new racial package they just haven't gotten around to announcing them The male viera trailer was enough of a bombshell they didn't want to do more. I would hope and think we'll get more details about the new races and racial additions at the next reveal event for the new xpac.

Something tells me their plan is to implement the missing genders, then address the hair issue for each race at once, so they don't have to go back for their counterparts. Doesn't make the situation any less crappy for current Viera and Hrothgar though.

They can do two things.... more than that even.

Also the announcements they're doing this far out are the things that generate the most hype, so "here's a peak at new zones!" "here's a trailer of the new job!" "we're making male viera a playable race!"

These are all bigger headlines that will generate more positive press than "we're adding more hairstyles for an existing race!" Surely you can see the difference on giving something like Kotaku or Game Informer to write about.

Honestly I think adding male Viera is a step towards this goal. With a larger chunk of the playerbase choosing these races, it would be financially in their favor to create items for us to buy or spend our time on in-game.

yes i'm sure all 5 of them will be a huge change once they see they just like their counter part they have 8 hairstyles for 2+ years :P but at least se's accountants will be happy when they buy fantasia to change back
