What do you want to do before endwalker?

The main thing I want in Endwalker is a specific small house in the Firmament that I've already picked out and fallen so, SO in love with. Seriously, it's totally pathetic but I cannot overstate how DESPERATELY BAD I want this one specific house.

So, what I plan to spend most of my time doing is:

- Getting the rest of the reqs done to have enough Grand Company rank to actually BUY a house (it's on an alt who neglected GC stuff for too long)

- Spend a lot of time combing all the existing districts for whatever random, rare house got emptied due to player going inactive or whatever, so I can get in on the earlier "People who are relocating houses get first crack over people who are buying new" thing.

- Doing TONS AND TONS of research on new-district-on-launch-day strategies for having the best chance of getting what you want, even if you're not naturally competitive.

- Making sure I pay attention to all new announcements and can know the EXACT day and time it becomes available as early as possible, so I have enough time to request that day off work and set up camp.

- Gathering, crafting, even spending real world $ on sellable Mogstation dye pots, whatever it takes to amass a SERIOUS amount of gil despite my limited play time.

I just want to be able to buy this house outright, whatever it takes. But I suck at being competitive, and the main thing I love about this specific house is the outside view of everything I wanna see... so, even if I get beat out and can't get the house, I don't wanna be just crushed/despondent that I tried so hard and failed. I wanna have enough gil to bribe the heck outta whatever lucky people got it over me. Will you free it up for me if I give you 10x the purchase price? Can I buy a much bigger, nicer house and offer you an even trade? Or, even if not a single one of you in 24 wards will sell to me... can I give any one of you enough gil to make it worth your while to friend me and grant me tenancy, or even just give you tons of gil AND a really nice piece of outdoor chair/table furnishing, if you promise to just put it in the specific place I want and just let me sit here and enjoy the sunrise over the mountains and pretend it's mine for just a few minutes every once in a while?

I've capped my jobs. Can't be bothered to gear my off-jobs like ranged and casting, but the rest are on well enough. I'm just logging in now for FC events and not touching this game in earnest until EW. I tend to go really hard at the start of expansions, and want to return refreshed and ready.

We have a long wait for EW, so to take a note out of Yoshi P.'s pocket book: take a break. Your enjoyment of EW hinges on how burned out you get with end of ShB :P

What I should do is actually start BLU again, level a crafter and gatherer to max so I can get collect some of the nice beast tribe items (decor, mounts, pet, etc.), finish relics, collect Eureka items, organize inventories, collect general glamour items, complete ShB/SB extreme mount set, decorate my house that is the equivalent of a storage unit, and more.. Will I? Probably not.

I'm hoping to finish getting all my ShB relics(currently only have 5 I need to get to Augmented Law's Order - already have the artifact pieces from Delebrum, just need the Crystal Tower/Castrum memories).

Probably work on getting all the dogs/clears I need from SB, and then work on getting all the EX mounts from ShB...kind of fell off the wagon on doing the extremes

Aside from that...just work on glamour, my house, and getting gear ready for jobs so that I can just not worry about it and go straight into content.

Leveling up all characters to 80 on a different server. Also taking my time to read the story and leveling every job at the same time. All to 50 in ARR, All to 60 on HW. And now working on all to 70 on SB. Last time I auto skipped anything that didn't have voice.

Also Annoying people by queuing all the old raids in the process. And having a fun time, as people do not remember the old raids and thus have to rely on themselves instead of videos. Is a pity that I cannot queue the coils on Bahamut on duty finder, I always wanted to see that story. But party finder is too slow.

Always loved HW and ShB. But now that ARR is flyable it was less of a chore to read the story. And the main story of SB is better than I remember. Although in both ARR and SB the in between stories are of a lower standard. Square is great at making story, but not so great at gluing two stories.

May spend some time in Eureka, before going to ShB. Assuming my patience is high enough for it. And enough people still go there.
