They should just do what the Duskwights did with the Elementals. Flip the Greenword the bird and go underground.
I'm talking about the other players here, hence why Male Miqote are still rare ( Count the NPCs), and so will Male Viera be at least until maybe EW if they decide to do something about it. The playerbase does not reflect the lore, but if you care about writing a backstory and or RPing you should follow the lore, obviously.
Snuck out and did what exactly? The males likely don't even know their own children, they're literally not in contact with each other nor the village for years. You don't teach someone to hunt in a day, nor a week, and the males have a job to do, which isn't hanging around the villages outskirts. Viera are not Humans, they're Viera, it's not hard to work with the lore, rather than against.Lore can be twisted somewhat. What if this female viera snuck out into the woods at night. Teens sneak out. I think some people are creative enough to come up with some really interesting stories. I don’t feel like their personal story effects anyone else. If it bothers you so much then you don’t need to RP with them.

"Stop right there, criminal scum! Nobody breaks the terms of service on my watch! I'm reporting your illegal mods, now enjoy your time in gm jail."
To be fair. What we know of Viera society is mostly the Rava, we know little of the Veena society other than the fact that they don't mind people going off and becoming adventurers.
That point taken, their lore still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Much like Miqo'te lore.
Incorrect, it's the same forest, just different location.
North = cold (near mountains)
The rest = tropical
There is a difference between knowing not to breed with someone and actually knowing them as a person.Where in the lore does it say they don’t know their children? I’m pretty sure they would know so they don’t accidentally breed with the wrong person later, they do have very lengthy lifespans. A father can teach his daughter over years of her going to see him. Even if the men have a job to do, does it take every minute of every day? I just don’t feel like the lore needs to be so rigid that people can’t come up with stories that bend it a little. I’m just going to leave it as, I disagree with you about judging people for not being absolutely strict in their own personal interpretation of lore and how they would like to write their own story.
Lemme teach my daughter once every 5 years for a day.
Dad of the year award.
Oh they're also known for being sociable,, not..

Can we wait for the actual information during the pre launch events? We will see all kinds of information on male viera in the future, but right now we just have to wait to find out how tall they are. We don't know how they compare to female viera. Posts like these are kinda useless until then.
The magic of female Roegadyn cannot be overstated.
Female Roegadyn's height slider would allow male Viera to be as short as the shortest male Midlander or reach male Elezen's neck/face. Square enix, you have an opportunity to really make the last male race one which unifies the tall options and the short option in such a perfect way.
