Question regarding servers

I wonder if they could give players a window in which t transfer characters for free to the new data center.
If memory serves me , they did it when EU data center moved physically to Europe.

I believe they already said there will be free transfers.

I'm sorry to tell you that we may not *ever* get one S.A. server because *we are excluded* - unfortunatelly. And I say we, because I'm also Brazilian.

We -S.A. Countries/people- weren't even quoted/allowed to particiate in "The Uznair Challenge" event that just happened (May 14th).

So nice of you to come here with all this positivity and foward thinking... im amazed you are still playing, there is a saying, "if you cant say something nice, dont say anything."

Anyone from SA that is playing the game either speak english or is using a translator overlay either way no worries in doing the game in PT-BR, i actually wouldnt play it in PT, i cant stand the names translated in PT, WoW became something else translated...

What im asking and the positive side of the community is asking is for a server so we can have a competitive latency without having to pay extra for a VPN to assist, so one more time...

SA server in São Paulo = AMAZING/PERFECT
NA East = Very good solution, would do wonders, a server in miami or DC would be great

Don't get me wrong, I want SE to deploy a South America Server - I would be one of the benefited; especially because I play on the PS and I don't have VPN - however, my main point was 'if we were left behind on an online event, imagine us getting a 'dedicated' Server'.

this is the only time i answer this im not attacking, but trolls hides on every forums sadly, the propose is SA server or NA East datacenter, the fact that people can come and say "yeah that will never happen dont even try" is either bad faith or ill intent which neither increase the dialog on the subject proposed here, again, you made a complain on me, and no addition to the subject of the tread, how am i suppose to take your reply serious?

You open a debate topic regarding a SA server, and I commented that while I'd love it too, the numbers are just not there. Hell, this topic even reinforces this by the fact that it's been 3 days and there's only 5 pages, whereas other topics currently in the front page were started today and already have 10+ pages.

It's not being negative, it's being realistic, and upon accepting this reality you can then take course of action to change this reality. Want a SA server, then start promoting the game to your friends or in SA forums. Make the devs see that there is an actual market out there. And understand that this decision won't happen overnight, specially in the shadow of Squarenix just recently spending money and resources to open the Oceania server. They won't make another such investment at least till after Endwalker goes live for a while.
