Man, that got heavy. Really heavy. I think this only reaffirms the belief that the dev team really cares. Not just about the game, but each other. They are basically family. I won't lie, I got kinda misty eyed. Thank you Soken for all your hard work! Very few individuals in this world have the same amount of passion for the things they love. We will be rooting for you every step of the way. And thanks to the rest of the dev team for being awesome.

Soken revealed that he had actually been in hospital battling cancer for most of last year while continuing to work as much as he was able. It's now currently in full remission.

He composed "To the Edge" from his hospital bed basically, and Yoshi P only let him keep working because he begged to be treated no different than before. None of the dev team besides Yoshi knew about it till recently, and the doctor let Soken out of the hospital because he's in full remission atm.

Just watched the video, really got tears to my eyes. I had family members got and killed by cancer so it hit really close to home.
