They don't shun civilization, they shun societies not their own. The lore book also said this.

Just went from cat to dhalmel, I like how he looks and the slender figure with broad shoulders makes them look good in armour. I am still not a fan of their running animation.

Lul at all the Miqo'te getting all uppity. How does it feel to be generic? Sure Elezen might have overly long necks and limbs, but atleast we aren't generic. Plus no fleas and much less thotery.

I remember using an Elezen Dragoon character during Heavensward, legit made the run way more enjoyable for that.

Duskwrights and Keeper of the Moon should hang out and get some drinks though
