You should be worried about when they add playable Seeq.
If I could get the Rainmaker or a similar cut, I’d swap back.

I'm glad they got around the female-only nonsense, but because they're doing Viera first I have my expectations lowered far more regarding Hrothgar changes.
Because let's face it, 99% of XIV's playerbase only cares for pretty-faced races. Once Viera get what they want, no one will care about Hrothgar may be missing, or how long they will take to have it.

Once they come out with female Hrothgar, all I'll want in the game is a new race without a playable second gender.
It always felt more fantasy-y when races had lore preventing something. Some kinda limitation that just made the world more fantastical and wondery.
There was no such thing as male Miqo'te when I started playing.
But over time everythings just become unraveled.

Good, good, finally.
Oh, definitely, but there is one male Miqo’te face that is particularly grizzled that we didn’t see a male Viera equivalent to. We can’t forget Miqo’te males have range in their defaults. The samples for male Viera we were shown feel more on par with Midlander defaults in their selection.
As for which population the male Viera will cut into, I still think it will be mostly Miqo’te. Female Viera just by luck ended up a perfect happy medium between Roe and Elezen, being voluptuous and muscular like Roe, yet have elegant and reserved animations like Elezen.

Same was predicted for female Miqo'te and Auri. Did it happen? No.
In all seriousness, if their addition will redistribute character population in terms of race popularity - it's for the best. Male Miqo'te along with male Au Ra will likely still stay the most popular options even after that, but at the very least we'll have more variety to see on our screens.
