Yep, like the rdm teaser vid we got. I'm hoping there's more to reaper than just filling up the bar. Sorta like rdm vs smn imo. I enjoy both jobs but appreciate that smn is a bit more complex.
Very well...you shall have to fill up a bar that slowly depletes. Such excitement. They do place emphasis on constantly attacking.
From what I can tell the job will be build/spend and you use your resource to perform oGCDS and maybe another resource to do your burst phase.
Trailer shows 3 weaponskills, your "Avatar" which is clearly an oGCD, and a DPS burst mode that lets you do big attacks.
They don't want to show too much so all we really have to work with is the basics since all the attacks seem to all be single target.
I'd want to see how AoE will work on Reaper and how the class really works.
Right now Reaper and Sage have not revealed how their job gauges will work.
The translated interview saying it isn't a pet job is going to mean the "Avatar" isn't a summon on a timer like AQ, Bahamut/Phoenix, and Esteem are. It's something you directly control through both oGCD and your burst mode.
Depending on how often we can use our Demon I see a lot of weaving. If we can't attack as often then I expect heavy hitting attacks.
From 1-90 I expect we will have a lot more then 5 skills.
Never said anything about wanting the bar to deplete or something along those lines. =S
I agree they dont want to show too much right now. Based on the interviews though, there's a lot of work to be done after figuring out the final direction of the job so just showed us what they go so far. That's why I said it's similar to the teaser we got for rdm which didn't show that much.

That's what I said I'm hoping for. That there's more to to it than just build/spend one resource. So like smn has their trance mechanic but also egi assault to generate charges to use ruin iv.
If they have some other resource that's being generated to allow for magic attacks then I'll be rather happy. Not to big on the aesthetic which would I would be okay with as long as it had that "battle mage" feel.
