Why does casting gear have such a low drop rate at The Tower at Paradigm's Breach?

Trying to get casting gear from The Tower at Paradigm's Breach is as difficult as farming extremes for mounts synced. Casting gear almost never drops. melee gear drops all the freaking time yet super rarely does casting gear ever drop.

Want to know how many times I have seen casting gear drop from The Tower at Paradigm's Breach? 1. literally 1. The gloves. And that dropped on literally my first run. That and other casting gear has been nonexistent since.

This is between two characters at an average of three times a week per character. It is as grindy as a mount to get casting gear from there. We are talking six runs a week since 5.5 dropped. I am burned out after that.


It is quite obvious that casting gear has the lowest drop rate of any gear type that drops from The Tower at Paradigm's Breach.

My question is, why? Why did the developers favor the drop rate for melee gear over casting gear?

You already made this thread once. And as people have said, it's RNG. I've seen tons of casting gear drop, but I've not been so lucky on Fending. Welcome to RNG.

You haven't done enough to tell what the drop rate is.

You can't have.

Streaky rng happens, naturally, for, and against you. That's just how RNG is.

Compile 1000 runs and see what the loot distribution is, then you'll actually have an idea. Until then, you're just seeing normal distributions doing normal things.
