Personally I'd love it if they eventually added Bangaa as a playable race. Bangaa and Seeq not being playable in XII was a huge waste ("let's have this amazing fantasy setting with a lot of different races but you only get to play humans and 1 bunny girl"), but Seeq would be very problematic to implement as a race due to their body shape requiring major adjustments to armor.

Also maybe Burmecians but Square seems to have forgotten the rat people even exist.

Bangaas were the only race in XII that knew how to use dragoon skill Jump too lol
I personally like the Bangaas, I appreciated them a lot in that game

Didn't they say that Viera/Hrothgar were going to be the last playable races added to the game? I recently watched the live events before Shadowbringers and they said that implementing new races in the game takes a lot of time and effort and they weren't planning on doing it anymore. I would excpet the female/male version of the latest 2 new races if anything, but doubt that will happen.

Even in a hypothetical sense it'd be a ridiculously dumb move, from all angles, to make entirely new races when Hroth and Viera are not only gender locked, they're also limited in the most important character customization feature [hairstyles], and head gear options.

If they propose to graphically update and enhanced the currently existing races, however...

Then they need to go back and give the old race models some TLC since it's painfully obvious how much cleaner Viera's model is. Then there's also the issues of hairstyles for the existing Viera and Hrothgar...

I doubt there will be any new races added. Male Viera and female Hrothgar probably won't happen either, but I guess we'll see in a few hours.

Hypothetically, I'd love to see Ivalice moogles as a new small race. I'd love to be able to play as them. And people who don't like them would love to beat them up in pvp XD

Reallistcally though, unless it's the missing genders for hrothgar and viera, then I don't see anything being added. I honestly see people being disappointed. I hope I'm proven wrong though.

I'm not sure what the point of this hypothetical scenario is beyond letting a lot of people write about how they'd be angry about something that hasn't even happened, and isn't going to.

Surely there's already enough negativity in the discussion without literally making up new things to complain about.
