Well, They never said that the Instance itself can't hold more than 1 party.. all they said is " Get into a party of 8 to enter the Instance"
Even still, weather it is or isn't this content is going to be fun![]()
FFXI was a success manly because they didn't take ideas from the players.. it was their own created game...
FFXIV Forums come along.. People Opinions becomes the games reality.. and not what they want to create.. if you wanna know who is destroying the game ( for those that think the game is going down the tubes anyways) is the player base on the forums.
That's just me though, I just feel like its the players game not SE's game.. :/.
Honestly, you should be given a medal for that post. Too much logic.FFXI was a success manly because they didn't take ideas from the players.. it was their own created game...

Bring Quality Notorious Monsters to FFXIV!

I dunno Star, aesthetics, minor balance and UI changes are really the only thing heavily player influenced, all the content was SE's Ideas and most of it was planned pre-forums. I guess you can argue that instancing was player influenced but to be honest with the way the server structure is and the amounts of lag in crowded areas I dont think SE had a choice really.FFXI was a success manly because they didn't take ideas from the players.. it was their own created game...

Also maybe jobs where player pushed but I dont think anyone can argue it wasn't a good idea.
You are right, they didn't have a choice.. but what would happen.. if the 1st players poll went against Instances? How would SE handle it differently with this Crappy server structure Tanaka made?I dunno Star, aesthetics, minor balance and UI changes are really the only thing heavily player influenced, all the content was SE's Ideas and most of it was planned pre-forums. we would probably be stuck with a bunch of crappy roaming NM's I doubt the primal battles could be the way they are in an open area since they require a small area to be effective, just think if everyone was able to out run hellfire, momento, etc.
That's why it was best this way with the current setup we have, to have Instances.. but with 2.0 they have alot more to work with... at least with Instances it makes Version 1.0 at least better then if it was open world.. bad stuff could have been awaiting on the other side...
I can't wait for E3!![]()
ALSO HEY, perfect, awesome guys, you can use your awesome content finder to do hamlet defense!!!!
I also agree with you star, I really wish these forums were never made.
However, seeing the 2.0 PDF's, Artwork, Planned content into the game
I feel 2.0 is SE's game, Version 1.xx is the Players game ( and 40% SE's game), they are just putting whatever the players want into FFXIV 1.0 to satisfy them till 2.0. As they said before most of the stuff in FFXIV 1.0 is being Scrapped.. so why not give the players what they want for the time being.
In Guild Wars 1 you could only leave town with your party. And you could use NPCs to fill in for your party. So you didn't even need to use content finder!
Like, get with the times S.E.!
Open world and interacting with actual people is so last decade. It's all about instances and NPCs now. Real people are like totally obsolete.
