However, there is another function, er, somewhere, that pops a window that states, "Exit the game?" with "Ok" or "Cancel" pushbuttons ready for use. ????? Does anyone know what spawns this window? Somehow, in my travels with mouse and cursor, I run across a click somewhere that induces the game to pop that window. I'm goin' nuts tryin' to find out what spawns that puppy. Any help would be appreciated, a lot!

you mean this? this prompt pops when you attempt to force quite the client, it's been a thing since like forever.
if you want to see it just simply click the X on the window of the client (if in window mode) or the windows taskbar.
