    Job overhaul expectations for Endwalker

    So... which job or jobs do you think will get a complete overhaul before Endwalker? Which do you WANT to have an overhaul but feel like they won't get anything?

    I feel like Summoner definitely needs a do-over. Dark Knight needs some love too. I feel like bard lost their identity to dancer (but I don't play bard so take that with a grain of salt).

    I kinda hope they don't rework scholar just so it can be confirmed that SE really does just hates sch.

    Right now we know Astro shielding abilities are going to get gutted as the class is being reworked as a pure healer. Scholar's shielding abilities might end up getting buffed and overhauled a bit since it and Sage are to be classified shield healers.

    I hope they buff scholar to the point i want to use it instead of astro or white mage...........

    give black mage more skill to move around in the rotation while triple cast and leyline on cooldown XD

    Embolden on Red Mage should just be a general damage up buff for the party rather than it being a magic damage increase for the RDM and physical damage increase for the rest of the party. Brotherhood was changed on Monk to be all damage, so why not?

    I want White Mage to have an instant spell like Ruin II for movement heavy sections. Feels bad to refresh Dia early when I don't have any lilies but need to move.

    It would be nice if Dark Knight got a new self-healing option to help with Living/Walking Dead.

    Machinist should have an AoE button that's on the same recast timer as Air Anchor. It feels like a waste not to press it in AoE situations, but it also feels bad to only attack one enemy with it.

    I struggle to think of what I would want on Black Mage because it feels basically perfect already.

    MCH's other half of the rework.

    Flamethrower is emote material with damage slapped on it, Wildfire is now boring and basically a 1200 potency cooldown delayed by 10 seconds.
    Also the Queen is a glorified dot and Hypercharge spam gets tiring and 1 2 3 repetitive problems.
    MNK is in the same situation and needs the other half of the rework that are probably the new abilities.

    Other than that, SMN/SCH needs a massive work unless they want the SCH community to die as Sage is introduced.
    WAR/DRK are too similar and will just be copy pasted jobs if SQEX removes WAR second combo, Nascent Flash and Upheaval will be the only things that separate WAR from DRK.

    Last time I pressed Steel Cyclone/Chaotic Cyclone on war or Quietus/Flood of Darkness on DRK was at Bozja release.
    They need to stop with AoE shared cooldown action that will be used in less than half of the battle content.

    I didn't pressed Bio Blaster since 5.5 release, I wouldn't press the Air Anchor AoE variant for patches if I play something else in dungeon/bozja like content.
    If you crave for AoE damage with Air Anchor, just make it AoE, don't add a button to be unused in 95% of Extreme, savages, unreal and Ultimates.

    AST feels like it's going to get the "third new job" treatment like MCH did in ShB, now that it's lumped in with WHM (while SCH and Sage are together). I think SCH will get slightly reworked, but not to the extent as AST.
    SMN also I think will get heavly reworked, seems like it's been hinted at from interviews with Yoshi P.

    There's nothing really that I can say I WANT reworked from my main jobs other then minor issues.

    It's almost...like...AoE skills...are used when fighting multiple mobs.. not single target fights, ofc you're never going to touch AoE buttons in content where you aren't fighting multiple mobs.

    As for Class reworks? Def going to be AST and SCH (to accommodate the alleged pure/barrier split)and SMN (since Mr. Happy's interview has hinted at it).

    As for who else I suspect? Monk is the big one, since it feels like it got half of the changes it needed and isn't quite complete.

    I think they'll finally give MCH, Warrior and DRK the "buff stack" system for it's abilities that they already gave to monk and ninja.

    RDM I'm not expecting anything massive but hopefully they'll rework embolden to make it more group friendly.

    Other then hoping they reevaluate how BRD and DNC provide their rDPS that's the most I have for speculation at this time.

    Genuinely curious, why do you think drg needs an overhaul? It's not my main job, but I think it's already feel nice to play. Maybe just need a few tweaks here and there.
