How is monk after the rework?

How do you know that you're doing good dps?
Have you measured it?

Because you said a lot of wrong things tbh.
I mean feeling like you're doing good dps and actually doing it are two different things.

I'd suggest that you look up The Balance discord server, they have great guides.

I check aggro meters and dps/damage meters from others in party^^ also how can it be wrong when what i sayed includes the strongest damage combos(i don´t even think people here have a clue what i am talking about since most people only talk about the rather unimportant stuff and never about how to utilize Six Sided Star and Chakra skills)... i personally think there is a reason some people don´t like Monk currently and this is simply because they don´t know how to play it. Ofc i already saw some guides(while im not so new to the game anymore), but they are really useless, playing like those is by far worse than what i do now.

I´m pretty sure, that you´ve no clue what you´re talking about. (troll much?!)

SSS is a great tool with a good damage output, but it´ll never reach the potency from 2 positionals skills. You just need to check the numbers on the infobars to get that. SSS is only used as the last skill when you expect a longer downtime.
And what should those "chakra combos" be? Do you really stay there and spam it instead of doing real damage with your 123 combos?

If anything is the real damage tool of MNK, it´s Bootshine. And so far positionals are very important on MNK, not only to procc the 100% crit on BS. You´ll miss like 10% damage and more if you just ignore them.

And you really shouldn´t talk about "big DPS". It´s so easy to spy you. You haven´t even done the current endgame and you don´t have proper gear. If you think you´re a dps monster, because you can spam 123 in dungeons or that you´re 2nd in aggro with a burst class, then sry... but this is the biggest casual MMORPG i know. Everything but the endgame content is a joke and even those called savage raids are not a challenge for good gamers. Even ultimate is just a fat timesink to memorize some mechanics the a defined order.

If you´ve done E12s before Endwalker without the bs buff and a 90+ log, as MNK with your SSS chakra combo, feel free to come back to teach me and others.

Btw with positionals i only mean the dmg boosts from the side/back, ofc you use all those skills for combos/build ups(this doesn´t need a specific position) but the positions themself aren´t the most important thing anymore. If you really think they are, you never will be good as a monk and you can´t even use the positional damage bonus in many types of content, maybe from side but the bonus from the back is often not possible to do.

Are you talking about Delubrum Reginae?
You don't need to do them if the mob has a full circle beneath them but otherwise in 99.9999% of content you DO need to do them.

Mate i don´t know what type of player you´re, but in this regard you´re completely unexperienced or just a troll. I don´t know who told you such nonsense or if you found it out by yourself. Positionals are the main part of MNK and the most important stuff ever to perform as a DPS class. Especially the bonus from the back is actually the most important thing. Bootshine -> unforbidden chakra ftw. Not to mention that you´ve stuff like true north or riddle of earth to play around an amount of mechanics where you can´t hit your positionals. And like the preposter said, a fat ring means, that you don´t need to hit any positionals. It´ll always count.

So please stop spreading false informations, just because you think you´re in the right. You´re clearly not and any serious (or even non-serious) MNK player will tell you that. Just because you out-dps some casuals in content noone will ever take serious, doesn´t mean that you´re a good player or that your rotation is well played.
