new items are counter productive?

Some of you guys will just eat up any shit that SE produces with a smile, It's unbelievable.

Hard to get excited about new patch gear when I cant equip it without giving up all of my War Exclusive abilities/stat bonuses/entire AF set (no thanks), and garuda weapons look disappointing to boot.

I've been loving the progress on FFXIV lately but I feel like the items in this patch are entirely lackluster. I don't even want to work towards any of the new items.

There are job exclusive gear and now there are class exclusive gear. You don't see anyone complaining about not being able to use JSE on classes.
