It is actually possible that because the current server system sucks a ton of butthole, the only way they could run this stuff is if its instanced. I am hoping they drop half of the crap thats instanced in this game come 2.0, but there is every possibility that that is just wishful thinking.
The new patch notes are awesome, although i can see a few people getting upset at the crafting skill changes. Love the direction this game is headed. 1.22a looks like its gonna be just as epic as this patch was.

Is there anyway the bolded can be done for all dungeons/boss encounters from here on? Awesome decision, btw.If the 50-hour preparation period is over and the call-to-arms has been sounded, form a party of 8 members and speak with the militia captain to enter the instanced area. Once the instance has been entered, jobs and classes will be locked and players will not be allowed to change their weapons or soul crystals.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

They stated that those weapons wont be here until 1.22a. Guess that's the price we're paying for using the in demand classes. :X
I kid about the latter, but the former is true and that sucks. I wanted some new weapons. :?
1) The rest of the weapons are coming in 1.22a as noted in a previous lodestone post.
2) They're supposed to be difficult recipes to challenge DoH.

4) No. For 25 hours every 50 hours you can repeat the instance. 15 minute win cool down, five minute loss cool down.
