the mount is most likely going to be a attachment to buying a virtual ticket alongside the minions which last I bothered check ticket prices in 2018 they were like $152 or so
so if I had to guess... i'd say around $130+ or so.

Whatever it is, it being a whale will probably be fitting
im baby
There won't be a virtual ticket this time around.
The mount & minions for last fanfest were all separate purchases for those not attending in person.
I don't think it should be any more than the Chocobo Carriage.
It might carry twice as many people, but there's a lot less detail in it, and you can't see your characters anyway.
Most expensive thing I've bought on mogstation was the SDS Fenrir for £19.99, and that was a pseudo-xmas present to myself with some additional money I had coming in.
Chocobo Carriage is £23.99, and I wouldn't get that.
If the Whale was £23.99, it might be something I consider if I can justify it, but it's unlikely, as even when I'm doing maps or hunts or something, someone else usually has a 4-seater I can hop in.
Any higher than £26 and it's a hard no from me.

Admittedly if it's too pricy I may pass it up, simply for the fact you don't see the characters aboard it. It has good utility for things like maps and hunt traints/Bozja, but I don't know. Players just disappearing into it kinda bothers me a bit too much to want to pay more than the two-seater whale's price for it.
I haven't played the final fantasy game it's from, so I have no ties to it. I think it's ugly and way too large. I bought the other mogstation whale and never use it because it's so big it's a nuisance. I also can't imagine 8 people would be willing to hop in your personal mount, and you can't even see your friends inside. The skyslipper and the regalia are way cooler mounts to ferry friends in, at least you can see them!
If I remember correctly, the tickets to previous Fanfest were 30 USD, right? Charging more than 35 would be laughing in the face of all the people.
In any case they could sell it for 60 USD and even people would defend the price.
Little bit of lore on the Lunar Whale, since so many people have said they don't know about it, and it's ugly etc.
It's originally from Final Fantasy IV, and it was originally called the 魔導船 or Madōsen == Magic Ship. It was created by a Lunarian who is significant to the plot of FFIV. He hid in the ocean in the bay of a continent that's somewhat shaped like a serpent or dragon. It was specifically used by said Lunarian to travel from the Red Moon to Earth. The Lunarians were a highly advanced society with advanced lifespans, magic, and crystals who were originally from the fifth planet of the solar system. An unexplained calamity struck their planet, destroying it, causing them to escape on a red asteroid similar in shape to our normal moon. Knowing the blue planet to be habitable, they set their moon into a stable orbit, and put all of their citizens into a preservative hibernation, as it was largely agreed upon that they should wait until the Earthlings had evolved enough to co-exist peacefully with them before they could colonize parts of Earth.
One among their number wasn't content to wait, and wanted to wipe out humanity so that the Lunarians could inhabit the Earth right away. He constructed the Tower and Giant of Babil, but was forced into slumber by the only other Lunarians who were not in hibernation, and then sealed into that slumber by a set of crystals of Light and Dark. The two Lunarians that sealed him away were brothers, and the younger of the two constructed the Lunar Whale in order to travel to Earth to try and speed up humanity's evolution by teaching the arts of airship craft and magic to mankind. For this gift, he was murdered by the some of the same people he taught magic to, and his spirit was sealed inside of a mountain.
The Lunar Whale itself was his ship, and it is used in game to travel to and from the moon. It is also used in the After Years phone game sequel to bring a specific character back to Earth. It was made in the shape of a whale, so that it could sit underwater in disguise while its owner traveled abroad (supposition).

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
