    Is Price an Object for the Lunar Whale?

    From what I understand they're opening the purchase of the Lunar Whale when the virtual fanfest goes live.

    Have they listed the price for it yet? If so, how much? If not, what's your spending limit?

    I'm prepared for it to be costly. I think I'll buy it no matter what. What about you?

    I'm expecting something like €50 but I guess my limit is around 100. I don't know. Will see how I feel when it drops next weekend.

    I'm on the fence for this. It has unique music but visual-wise, you only saw the whale but all your characters will disappeared inside it, you won't see them. It should not cost that high.

    I think it will have a premium due to (most likely) the exclusivity. Have they said it will be available for purchase after the event?

    I think Cloud Motorcycle would be a good price indicator since thats the last Fanfest Mount.

    If I had to put a price on it, $30, which is the price of the other "whale" mount.

    I'd hope it would be less because they want to incentivize people to get it, and also as an apology for not actually having a live fan fest this year.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I'm guessing $50. We'll find out in a few days though. I'm prepared to pay that if necessary, though I'd obviously be okay with it being cheaper than that.

    I'd prefer to stay under $35, would be real hard pressed to pay $45-50, and absolutely wouldn't go higher than that. Even if it's cool. :P
