    Apparently Yoshi-P thinks larger scale savage content is easier to get in to

    Are you serious Yoshi-P? Do they even look at the clear numbers? There's literally more people with the e12s mount (which only 1 out of the 8 people in the clear can get a week) than people with the Cerberus mount (guaranteed per clear)

    I can't believe this is the direction this game is moving to. Instead of 4 man savage dungeons it seems like we'll get more large scale savage content which is infinitely harder to schedule.

    Edit: Don't forget to mention that larger scale content ALWAYS means easier mechanics. DRS was a complete joke of a "savage" fight. It was at most EX level and that's kinda pushing it.

    I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually agree with you on this one.
    The issue with DR Savage it a bit more complex though then just "difficult to get into". Unlike BA which had quite a few rewards attached to it past your first clear and the Ozma mount, DRS has.... Dyable judge gear I guess? This removes the amount of people willing to run the content again for people who may be interested in it in the future. The few Discord servers I'm on which tries to find people for these two have significantly slowed down, and BA still has far more groups for it. If they are going to do more of these in the future, they need to
    1. Make the content more puggable and
    2. Make it actually worth the time and effort.

    It's definitely dumb. Small scale content is always far more accessible and easier to schedule.

    What I've always wanted out of this game is 4 man and SOLO Savage tier content as a means of endgame progression. I have zero interest in trying to coordinate schedules with strangers, and that's pretty much the entirety of this games endgame. From what I hear the content isn't even difficult by difficult game standards, it's just extremely inconvenient.

    I can't bring myself to agree with MPK directly so I'll just agree with you instead. Making the content more puggable is probably the best solution, in my opinion. If their goal was to get more people into this content they failed miserably. As things currently stand, DRS is a waste of space.

    The issue with this concept is Yoshi is trying to build a large house on a sand foundation. The concept is to build hardcore raiding FC's and have them focus on this large scale content when even the UI is not even designed for it. The fact we do not have raid frames is INFINITELY annoying to me.

    I get that Mythic plus the way it has been implemented in WoW has been an utter hot mess but FF14 does not even gate gear behind RNG like Blizzard does to that degree as a form of time gating content. Nothing says it has to reward gear but the hardcore community is asking for smaller content.

    I mean come on Square Enix in Endwalker you are literally giving casuals single player farmville Islands. Throw the hardcore guys a bone.

    The problem with this content is that the PVE scene in this game is small. They are creating content thinking that the PVE scene of this game is big as is Wow when the truth is that they themselves have made sure that this scene is small.

    Really it's the implementation of this type of content that matters most. DR Savage was pretty much dead on arrival, with all the hoops players had to go through to even unlock it.

    This right here is the actual issue with DRS. I'm someone with ten clears and I have literally do desire to touch the content again because it's such a giant gil sink. Hell, I only got to ten because the group I was wanted to get the title and we rotated people in and out due to scheduling. I also like collecting achievements. Nonetheless, they keep talking about how they'll make it easier to approach come 5.55. While a nice sentiment, many of the players who would help put groups together have long since moved on and how no reason to go back.

    On a separate note, I do... begrudgingly have to agree with MPK with regards to harder four man content. There are numerous ways to make it work so responsibility isn't solely on one job, particularly the healer. Repurpose all the useless items like Potions that currently serve little to no use, add Lost Actions and/or Essences. They could make it work, but I honestly get the impression they simply have no idea how to give a worthwhile reward structure. They also prefer having better players "pick up the slack for less experienced players". Which wouldn't happen in harder four man content. Keep in mind, that queue is directly from Yoshida.
