Moogle Mail Quests and 1.0 References

So I got done with all of the Moogle Mail Delivery quests recently. They're chocked full of many recurring side characters and their backstories. That was refreshing, but I couldn't help but feel like there were probably 1.0 references in a few of them that I just didn't get.

For instance, the one with the Keeper of the Moon sisters in East and South Shroud. The King of Coeurlclaw Poachers, living like a Seeker Male somehow, and all that jazz.

I want to know which mail quests have ties to 1.0? Was the noxius thing with the gladiators more prevalent?

Also, someone told me there were 50 Moogle Mail quests, but I seem to have obtained the hat after only 25, and no more show up. Do more crop up in another locale? I went on a teleportation journey, and I couldn't find anymore.

Once you have the hat, it's done. Perhaps the person who told you about the 50 moogle quests meant the level 50 moogle beast tribe quests, or the seemingly never-ending other moogle quests in the Churning Mists?

I'd actually like there to be more Moogle Mail quests, but that seems rather unlikely to happen now, given the time which has elapsed since the initial bunch.

Yeah was kinda sad when more mail quests trickled in over time, and then just stopped. I always wanted some more ones here and there over the years.

The postmoogle quests were a good way to wrap up storylines and give hints, I miss them.

Yeah, I'd like to see more of them moving forward. They were an excellent way to expand on minor characters that otherwise wouldn't see much in the way of closure or follow-up.

While it's possible that there's more backstory to it that I'm not aware of, the Coeurlclaw King is a FATE boss and the story seemed self-contained well enough.

The one that I do remember sticking out as presumably reliant on on 1.0 familiarity was the Company of Heroes quest where they kept talking about someone they wouldn't name. I'm not sure if it was meant to be something the player did or if there was some other logic to it.

You mean the actual leader of the Company of Heroes? Which is weird because I always thought it was Wheiskaet until that quest.
