How about they don't have us pay extra for things they should be updating themselves?
We already have the option to pay for more inventory space via retainers. I don't think it would be healthy for the game if SQEX turned around and said "hey playerbase, guess what. We've got new features lined up and some of the QoL is locked behind a paywall."
Let's not introduce more ways our monthly sub can be inflated.
Never said it should be a monthly fee. Heck, I hate having to pay for the retainers' sub to have more inventory space.
Just have it be a one time purchase Glamour Dresser expansion. The reason why I even brought up the payment in the first place is because Glamour Dresser and other related QoL have been asked for in the past with the answer being "sth sth game code big boo boo a no no" so perphaps with some monetary incentive behind they'll give it a second thought.
But it's not like they don't have the money to change things.
The question is more: time on this vs time on other things, which is the more valuable investment.
And Yoshi P has said he doesn't like outsourcing work on the game so we can't just give them money to hire new/more people to work on it.
I'm also not comfortable with the precedent it would set.
If we pay them extra to fix their own game, the corporation behind FF14 would be more inclined to release features in janky states and charge us extra for the real version of the feature.
