Please just delete the glamour system and add a glamour closet system

To be honest with you guys I cannot believe that this current glamour system even exist in an MMO in 2021. It makes no sense how out dated this thing is.

It completely discourages people from farming content to get new glamours once they are capped on space and the display it uses is SOOOOOOOO OUTDATED for showing what you got.

I seriously want to see an FF dev put this glamour system up against WoW's transmog UI and justify why this still exist? I do not care how you do it but this system needs to go and be updated. Also do not tell me that is WoW and this is FF14 because these 2 MMO's devs have been hijacking content from each other going on years now.

. It is insane that when you acquire a piece of gear the appearance is not automatically just added to a closet.

. It is insane the convalutued process you have to go through to use a crystal to add a piece to a closet. Maybe 7 years ago there was some kind of market but this is just a pointless hassle.

. YOU HAVE 3 EXPANSIONS WORTH OF GEAR and christ knows how many classes. Why in gods name does a cap on the glamour closet even exist? Was this a F2P feature that you were going to sell more space on the Mogstation but then the game went back to subscription and you forgot?

. Why is there not a thing that shows me glamours I have not collected? Do you understand transmog collecting in WoW is literal end game for players over there that people spend MONTHS doing.

Please please just update this outdated system. I cannot be the only one that finds this aspect of FF14 to be outdated and inconvenient.

I really agree with this concerning the amount of equipment we currently have, I can understand if this is still in heavenward or even stormblood, but now in shadowbringer and even more in endwalker.............. I am not forcing the dev to quickly implement it right away, but I hope they at least consider it to be something for a future consideration at least

This kind of stuff will also encourage player to do old content to at least farm for glamour, which is a good thing, but knowing that there is a limit to how much equipment you can keep will actually discourage player to do that >_<

I love pretty much everything in the game, personally, but I have to admit, I'd love to see the glamour system revamped. I'm one of those people who compulsively collects clothes in other games, and the FFXIV style is so pretty. But the glamour dresser/retainer storage is so limited. It's not a dealbreaker of course, but it's definitely on my wishlist.

I'd really like to have a "glamour log" of sorts where you can just open up a tab and have your appearances readily available. WoW has stumbled a lot in recent years, but when it comes to their current transmog system...it's hard to beat that. If the dev team wants to borrow a good idea from another MMO, that would be the one.

I agree completely, but even worse, the whole inventory in this game is a huge mess. Way too many items and some are so unnecessary. For example, why are there like 9 DIFFERENT non-dyeable hair corsages in like 13 different styles resulting in 117 different pieces? Why not one in each style that is dyeable reducing that to only 13? Unnecessary bloat and hassle, just like the glamour system - more than likely to keep people paying more money for extra retainers.

A cynical individual might be inclined to believe that some of the game's systems are needlessly inefficient to encourage players to pay extra for added inventory space.

Both ESO and WoW have decent glamour storage systems. I hope FFXIV follows suit.

like for instance, dyes. Half of my chocobo saddlebag is nothing but dyes I have stored and that's ALOT of space to use up for just Dyes. I mean seriously, just look
