Respectfully, no. It's time to stop kick the can down the road. Egi design has be a top complaint since Beta and it hasn't gone away. It's long past time to deal with this issue. 6.0 is a perfect time to introduced redesign Garuda, Ifrit, Titan along with adding Shiva, Ramuh, and Leviathan; something players have been asking for since 2015.
Kinda sounds like the plan is to throw the old can away and get a new can instead. The wording makes it seem like they are going to redo the pet system for summoner entirely.
