When you jump an alt, do you go through early optional content?

I am curious on everybody's stance on this is

When you pay for a jump to Shadowbringers for an alt, do you spend time unlocking the optional content that you missed such as raids or do you just dive right into Shadowbringers?


Me, I have jumped a few alts after Moltres Rider did everything legit and after I jump the alt I always go back and do Heavensward raids, Stormblood raids, and all other other optional content with that alt that was not included in the jump before I start Shadowbringers content. I want those things unlocked and accessible. Also it is a great way to add /playtime to that character which in return helps you get rid of your sprout. All the missed raids and stuff alone is usually not enough /playtime to bump you above the required seven days of /playtime to lose your sprout (at least not for me who queues for multiple duties at once with alts) but it does help.

Yeah, I unlock those things as I reach the level for them, as I skip msq on some alts but never the levelling part.

I've only skipped one alt, and that was to re acquire lost footage for my LP alt. It also included getting him a name change and a fantasia. Other than that, I've always leveled from 1 to maximum level, unlocking everything along the way. I do skip out on non-pivotal sidequests on alts though. Once or twice with sidequests is enough for me.
